Security Compliance Auditor - Northeast Region *Flight Privileges Offered* - Full-time
Description
  • Develops compelling and informative methods to track, highlight and present measures and metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of security programs, to include the security value and analysis delivered by security programs.
  • Ensure the security-training program is adhered to and meets corporate requirements.
  • Conduct new hire field training and ongoing training.
  • Collects and manages program data, ensures accuracy of reported information and identifies trends within the data.
  • Coordinates with other entities on security related construction projects, develops timelines, tracks progress and communicates with impacted parties.
  • Assists with the coordination, management and implementation of internal-and external-facing companywide security projects.
  • Conducts required safety and compliance audits designed to identify deficiencies, find and correct root causes with appropriate corrective actions, and measure the success of Unifi security programs.
  • Inputs data into Corporate Security’s case management system
  • Supports data collection and tracking of subpoena requests.
  • Coordinates the procurement of security equipment.
  • Collaborates with team members on special projects.
  • Ability to support Corporate Security during incidents, even when outside of normal business hours.
  • Assists with program audits and quality assurance as needed.
  • Practices safety and security conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
  • Serves as subject matter expert and master facilitator for security specific training programs.
  • Ensures compliance with Unifi policies and procedures, rules, standards, as well as customer and governmental safety requirements are met for each station.
  • Maintains knowledge of regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and best practices to assist stations with regulatory and business compliance.
  • Promotes continual focus on safety, security, and compliance awareness.
  • Oversees and coordinates team activities to ensure audit template/process is consistent

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Security principles and practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of security access controls and badging, security operations center, and fingerprinting systems preferred.
  • Must demonstrate professional/ethical behavior in all roles, tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to supervise, coach or commend staff.
  • Must be able to enforce rules and regulations as required by the client.
  • Must be able to write incident reports.
  • Must be able to work well with people of various backgrounds and all levels of management.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, customer focused, able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Have excellent computer skills with at least a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications using Microsoft Office.

Pre-requisites:

  • Must be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must complete SIDA training if needed to obtain airport authority identification security.

Preferred Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.
  • Minimum 2 (two) – 3 (three) years training experience is preferred.
  • Law Enforcement training/instructor/security experience required
  • High school diploma, GED required, college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access. Must be able to self-manage from both an operational and financial viewpoint. Excellent organization and follow-up skills. Must be detail oriented. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. Must possess or ability to obtain an SIDA badge. Must complete all required Delta training with PCII, information security awareness, rules of road, and ethics.

Working Conditions

Work Schedule:

  • Location: Northeast Region (New York)
  • Travel: The position requires up to 90% travel with some overnight stays.
  • You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles and use radio equipment.
  • Employees work inside the Delta Air Line corporate offices.  Utilizes a personal computer.  May sit for long periods.
  • Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee will be located in a semi-private area.  A majority of the day is spent performing administrative tasks and overseeing site locations.  Occasionally visits assigned sites and may be exposed to outside weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
  • Sense of Sound/Hearing – Must be able to communicate by radio, phone, and other devices.
  • The incumbent is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily Operations/training/auditing of sites
